With its typical prints, this black kimono waistcoat will delight all fans of Japan

In the land of the rising sun, this traditional outfit is called a haori. It is a jacket worn over a kimono. It shows Japanese cranes (or tsurus) which symbolise longevity and good fortune. These birds fly in the wind over a drawing of Mount Fuji!

This short jacket can be worn with simple clothes. Plain coloured trousers and a straight cut top will work well with it.

The advantage of this haori is that it can be worn in winter and summer. To go to the beach or to stay at home. For entertaining at dinner or going to a matsuri festival. It's a must-have for any self-respecting wardrobe!
